Verrado Football holds 2016 Black and White Scrimmage

Here is a collection of images from the 2016 Verrado Football Black and White scrimmage held at Verrado High School on August 5, 2016.

The Vipers are coming off a team-best 10-2 2015 season during which the team reached the Div. III semi-final game versus district rival Desert Edge. The Scorpions eventually won the 2015 Div. III state championship after defeating Paradise Valley at Arizona Stadium in Tucson.

Verrado opens its 2016 campaign versus Paradise Valley in a Week 0 game to be played at Verrado on Aug. 19.

Welcome to the new blog page for Michael Rincon Photography. You may have visited my previous blog site - BVN Sports - which was created when I was sports editor and photographer for the Buckeye Valley News.

I have since moved to another role, which started with the 2015-16 school year, primarily shooting as a freelancer for West Valley View in the southwest region of the Phoenix Metro area.  My focus there is mainly on high school sports in the Agua Fria, Buckeye Union and Tolleson Union high school districts. Though my focus in the past was primarily on Verrado High School and its competitors, I will continue to cover a wider variety of southwest valley activity as assigned by the West Valley View editing staff.

In addition, I continue to work as the action photographer for Arizona United Soccer Club of the United Soccer League during the team's games at Peoria Sports Complex.
